Remix and improve on an open data source that you have found and are able to use.

Create some data through a survey (or mobile data collection), a hardware device, or anything else you can think of.

Prepare data for sharing - learn about cleaning, documentation (with metadata) in the Open Data Handbook.

Show and share

Share these new datasets online, for example by creating a Data Package and uploading it to a public repository, like DataHub or GitHub.

Describe your dataset in a post, instructing others in their use and pointing to possible applications. Share the link and we will spread the data goodness!
